Mophie products have always impressed me, I once thought that I had no need for any kind of power other than possibly a car charger. But as with most men, the more power the better!
Sitting at a cube for the majority of the day, I can just plug in the iPhone while I work. So why do I need something different, something more?
But when I saw this little Mophie juice pack reserve, I was thinking it may be worth the 35 bucks!
The Mophie juice pack reserve hits the market at a reasonable 34.95, which for an external battery pack for the iPhone and iPod it’s not to shabby. It is designed to always be “at your fingertips when you need extra power, but without the bulk of a case like the juice pack air”. Although it’s more expensive than some of the competitors, a name can take you a long way.
It’s damn lightweight at 1.6 ounces, with a 700 mAh battery packed into a 1.5″ x 3″ x .5″ box, but as seen in the above picture, it is bigger than one would think. If you could fit that power into a USB sized stick it would be sweet.
Would you buy one at the current price point? Do you need this extra juice throughout the day or on the road?

For a second there, I thought this might be a GPS locater for keys / wallet. Especially wallet. Know anything that is the size of a credit card and can locate a wallet?
