I try really hard to be a good husband. Part of that is helping around the house with chores like cleaning the bathrooms and washing the dishes. Trouble is, I don’t always remember to take out the trash.
Enter, Reminders to the rescue.
After a few weeks of forgetting to put the garbage on the curb (not in a row) I created a recurring task on Monday night to remind me. I even set the “Remind Me At a Location” feature to send an alert when I arrive home from work.
Another great feature of Reminders is the ability to sync via iCloud across devices. This way there’s no way for me to escape the alert going off.
Since using Reminders I haven’t missed a single week of taking out the trash. And my wife is very happy. Everybody wins.
