Ayecon Jailbreak Theme, Sexy As Hell

Posted by Matthew Snider with Leave a comment

I’ve never been particularly interested in theming iOS on my jailbroken iPhone. Apple’s stock iOS design is simplistic and efficient. The last thing anyone wants is to look at an over-designed interface every day.

Even though I have upgraded to iOS 6, this theme was all over my iPhone 4.

Designed by one of the legendary jailbreak themers Surenix, ayecon (pronounced “ai-con”) is the latest and greatest Cydia theme for jailbroken iPhones.

In ayecon, every icon shares its own a little story and every detail’s surreal from the fabric texture to the brushed metal volume scrubber

I’ve been playing around with it for the past couple of days, and it has really impressed me. The clean lines, the soft blues and the iPod app changes are great. My favorite piece so far has to be the changes in the messages app. Subtle but beautiful, he has made the chat bubbles come to life.

Simple, most of the time, is just better!

Whether you’re into themes or not, ayecon is worth checking out. Check out the video below for a short walk through of the theme. Turn off the sound, the guys voice can get tiring!
