AT&T You Suck!

Posted by Matthew Snider with 2 Comments

So it seems that AT&T is trying to loose even more customers now by raising rates on those of you who use exchange on your iDevice.

AT&T has supposedly made some changes to their data plans including several enterprise options, including unlimited enterprise. This new plan carries the cost of $45/month, $15/month more than the standard unlimited version that some users are locked into currently.

I call a mass exodus a la Netflix!

From AT&T:

Data Unlimited for iPhone 4S Enterprise is for customers using iPhone to access corporate email (via Microsoft Exchange), company intranet sites, and/or other business solutions/applications. Includes unlimited domestic data (web and email), Visual Voicemail, plus unlimited Wi-Fi usage on the AT&T national Wi-Fi network.

Please note: An eligible data plan for iPhone is required. If AT&T determines that you are using an iPhone on your account without an eligible data plan, AT&T reserves the right to add an eligible data plan to your account and bill you the appropriate monthly fee. This data plan covers data usage in the United States and does not cover international data usage and charges. For information on international plans visit att.com/international.

Basically AT&T is claiming that if they catch you using Exchange, they have the right to auto upgrade and bill you for it. This is complete and udder BS.

So do you use AT&T? Do you use exchange for work? Better start making more money or switch carriers!

  1. Ya att sucks. Just got off the phone with billing on a 60 minute call.
Got my bill today after upgrading my iPhone 4 last month to the 4S.
    Instead of my 30 unlimited plan I find a 30.00 and a 15 charge with a 10.50 prorated adjustment.
I use exchange on my phone and have for 2 years and they decide to add it on to my phone without any explanation.
The guy kept giving me all kinds of reasons for this charge but not the one listed here.
The wait was so long for a supervisor so he credited my account, but how can they do this without authorization???
So now will I no longer get my work email? They do not have this broke down for 4G or 3G, how can they do this?
